Website and Document Translation

Websites

Several web browsers support webpage translation. To translate a webpage, follow these steps:

Chrome or Firefox

1. Go the website.
2. Click or tap the option icon (3 dots or lines) in the address bar.
3. Click or tap “Translate.”
4. Select language.

Safari or Microsoft Edge

1. Go the website.
2. Click or tap the Translate icon in the address bar.
3. Select language.
4. Click or tap “Translate” if prompted.

Web browsers might also automatically detect the language of a page and ask if you want to translate.

Documents

Various online tools are available to translate PDFs and other documents. Two options include Google Docs and Google Translate.

Google Docs (for PDFs)

1. Open the document in Google Docs.
2. Go to Tools > Translate Document.
3. Select language.
4. Click “Translate.”

Google Translate

1. Go to translate.google.com.
2. Click “Documents.”
3. Upload the document.
4. Select languages.
5. Click “Translate.”
6. Download the translated document.
